The Crindau Vision

Over the first half of 2015 the Elders, under the watchful eye of Martin Erwin, took part in the Church Strengthening Initiative. During the process, Martin encouraged us to agree a vision for the church. After much discussion we came up with the following Mission Statement and Vision:

Our Mission

  • To be the centre of hope within our community

Our Vision

  • To befriend and support
  • To introduce people to Jesus, see their lives transformed and welcome them into our family
  • To nurture and encourage each other as we grow in our faith
  • To worship passionately, serve diligently and pray unceasingly
  • To recognise the importance of the individual and embrace as family
  • To equip and empower that together we might serve and show the love of Jesus to all

Over three weeks in June three of the Elders preached on various aspects of our vision and in July Martin also shared on the journey we were about to undertake. Unfortunately, because our PA system was being replaced at the time, the first message was not recorded. However, the other messages were recorded and are available below.

Jonathan Hansford: The Crindau Vision (part 3) (21/06/2015)

Martin Eriwn: The Journey (12/07/2015)

Martin Erwin speaks about Vision, and helps us consider why it is worth it to journey together as a church to get from “Here to There”.
